Cookies
The BEST and EASIEST cookies EVER!
So this isn’t technically a recipe per se, but it’s a great and easy way to make a ton of cookies- and you can use this for ANY holiday! You just need to get the mini cupcake papers that are themed for that particular holiday. We’ll have to make some this week, then put up a video and some pictures. I highly recommend these if you’re in a pinch, need to make A LOT of cookies, or simply want a winner (and LOVE Reese’s peanut butter cups!).
What you’ll need:
Chocolate chip cookie dough (you can use peanut butter or sugar cookie dough) in the Pillsbury or Nestle cookie roll (Costco has huge tubs of the Nestle cookie dough at this time of year and it makes this process even easier)
Miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter cups
Mini cupcake pans
Mini cupcake papers
THAT’S it! If you’re using the roll of cookie dough, I usually cut about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch think slice, then break it into thirds (cutting it into fourths doesn’t give you enough dough…in my opinion).
Then you scoop the cookie dough into the mini cupcake papers, which of course are inside the mini cupcake pans.
Cook the cookies as you normally would, per the instructions.
While the cookies are cooking (and this is my least favorite part) – you have to unwrap the Reese’s from the wrappers (both the foil and the paper…obviously).
As soon as the cookies come out, drop one mini Reese’s into the center of each cookie.
You’ll have to let them cool (the chocolate melts pretty quickly).
Then, ENJOY!
I recommend getting the mini-cupcake pans that are at least 2 dozen. I have one that is 3 dozen- so I usually use that one and a couple of smaller pans. This way I’m able to make 3-4 dozen at a time!
The hardest part is getting them wrapped up and given away before everybody eats them!
